The low volume hazardous waste collection process
If you need to dispose of a small quantity of asbestos or other hazardous waste - or if you don’t have room on your site for a container – contact us and we’ll arrange for one of our experienced team to recover the waste using our daily van collection services.
During collection, our team members will wear the required PPE and RPE and will help to load your hazardous waste into the van, ensuring that this is done safely and quickly.
We’ll then manage your waste compliantly, using our own waste transfer stations to ensure that all waste is disposed of appropriately, in line with current legislation.
What types of materials can be disposed of?
Many types of hazardous waste which are safely packaged and can be manually handled are suitable for disposal using our low volume collection service, including…

Preparing your waste for collection
All hazard materials for disposal must be safely pre-packaged. For example, asbestos should be double bagged or wrapped using 1,000 gauge, UN approved and certified plastic bags.
All other materials should be prepared using the safety data instructions on for the specific material type. If you’re unsure about the specific requirements for your waste, our team are always on hand to help.
You’ll need to provide us with a detailed inventory of all materials before collection to enable us to provide an accurate quote, and to ensure that the materials can be collected and transported safely.
Other useful information
For the disposal of larger quantities of hazardous materials on sites where having a container long-term is not practical, our smaller trailers can be temporarily left with you and collected at a pre-arranged tome.
